Jacqueline Ronson is a journalist who lives in Youbou and has called the Cowichan Valley home since 2015. She’s working to build
the Cowichan Discourse, an experiment in community-led journalism. She’s heard that many people are unsatisfied with the state of local media, and is committed to building a better model. That model starts with listening, and with telling in-depth stories that matter to people who live here.
